Each one of the companies within the XL Group nominates a non-profit organization to support through the contribution of 10% of its pre tax profits together with raising awareness and creating visability and attraction to that cause through our global network.

XL Preschool has selected The SAGE Foundation as its nominated cause. The SAGE Foundation provides enlightened education for creating extraordinary lives for children and wealth generating skills training for their families. The SAGE Foundation was founded by XL Life Member Maya Shahani in Mumbai, India and integrates education for children into a holistic programme which incorporates nutrition together with the opportunities for parents to learn handcraft skills and connections to global markets for their products. The families will keep receiving skills training as long as they keep sending their children to SAGE schools. SAGE works in collaboration with other non profits and corporate organizations to increase their ability to effectively create sustainable change in communities.

XL's support of The SAGE Foundation will be developed to include teacher exchange programmes and 'buddy' systems between XL Preschool and SAGE school children.
