The XL Preschool program is prepared with the belief that early childhood should be a time of fun, creativity, exploration and discovery. In an environment that is secure, warm and receptive, we strive to nurture our little Extraordinary Lives to develop their self esteem and potential thus making them self-confident.

For the purpose of implementing our program effectively, we group our children as follows:
Caterpillars ( 0 – 2 Years)
Chrysalids ( 2 – 4 Years)
Butterflies (4 – 5 Years)

We provide a purposeful environment that supports our program to develop children’s social, emotional, physical, spiritual and intellectual development as a whole. Our multicultural centre supports our vision to bring Unity in Diversity.

Everyday observations of the children at play, is an essential part of our planning process. This includes observing developmental milestones, skills, knowledge and attitudes that we use as assessments for the children.

Our activities are developed from a curriculum that includes sharing, conversation, early literacy and language, early number skills, speaking, writing skills, creative arts, history, geography, botany, zoology, cooking, dramatic play, yoga, music & movement, story telling/building, science activities, environmental awareness, games, sports & outdoor activities and celebrations of events in an environment with different learning centres that supports children’s interest and need for learning through structured and free play activities and discovery.

We consider the child’s first teacher to be his/her family and family involvement and participation is encouraged at all times to help us work on our program effectively.
